Actually waterproof. The face stock is synthetic film rather than coated paper, so the label itself does not absorb water. It handles cooler condensation, ice bath immersion, and sanitizer wipe downs. Prolonged direct sunlight will fade any ink over months, so these are built for cold and wet, not for outdoor UV exposure.
Can these go in the freezer?+
Standard permanent adhesive holds in a cooler and through normal freezing. If labels are being applied to a container that is already frozen, you need freezer grade adhesive, which is a different stock. Call (713) 519-5919 and we will quote it.
What roll core and unwind direction do I get?+
Standard is a 3 inch core with position 1 unwind. If your applicator needs something different, tell us before we print. Rewinding a finished roll is possible but it is an extra step and an extra charge.
How fast can I get labels printed?+
Five business days on press once you approve the proof. The proof usually comes back within one business day of receiving your files.
Do these meet FDA labeling requirements?+
We print what you supply. Content compliance, including ingredient declarations, allergen statements, and net weight, is on you or your food safety consultant. We will make sure the type is legible at size and that nothing critical falls into the bleed.
Can I get a different size?+
Yes. 3.5 by 2 is the standard because it fits deli containers and bottles well, but we run everything from small round seals to full wrap bottle labels. Send dimensions and we will quote it.
