Standard Business Cards Printed in Houston

Handing someone a limp business card in a room full of Houston contractors is a bad opening. That is most of why the 16pt stock matters. It has weight to it, the kind that makes people hold onto it instead of folding it into a back pocket.

Standard cards here run 2 by 3.5 inches, full color front and back, on 16PT C2S. That is the US standard size, the one that fits every wallet and cardholder without anyone thinking about it. UV coating on the color side is the default and it gives you that glossy saturated look that works for food, photography, and bright logos. Matte reads calmer and takes pen ink, which matters more than people expect when you write your cell number on the back.

Two hundred fifty cards runs $49. Five hundred is $79. A thousand is $99, and that is where most people land, because the jump from 500 to 1000 costs twenty dollars and cards do not expire. Five thousand is $209 if you are doing a real campaign.

Rounded corners are available. So is 18pt stock if you want it noticeably thicker, and spot UV if you want a glossy logo sitting on a matte field. All of that gets quoted on the same order.

Send whatever you have. A print ready PDF is ideal, but a logo file and a list of what goes on the card is enough to work with. We set the bleed, check the safe margins, and send back a proof. Free, always, and nothing prints until you approve it.

After approval the press run is four business days. Need it faster? Rush is a percentage of the order, the way the press bills it. Two days adds 10 percent, next business day 30 percent, same business day doubles it. Local clients pick up downtown near Main Street. Everyone else gets it shipped and shipping is quoted at checkout by weight and destination, not guessed at.

One thing worth saying plainly, because it comes up on almost every reorder. If your card has a dark background with a thin border, the tiniest shift on the cutting blade makes that border look uneven on one side. That is normal press tolerance across every printer in the country, not a defect. We flag it at proof stage and usually suggest killing the border or bleeding the color off the edge instead.
